Niravah

A bucket list with nothing to tick off

Niravah keeps a list of your wishes inside your notebook, next to the days you have lived. Add one in a few words, live it when it happens, and let the rest wait. A list of things you hope for does not have to feel like a to-do list.

Four places to start, so the page is never blank

Your wishes open with a few categories already there: Places to visit, Things to learn, Books to read, Films to watch, and a catch-all called My wishes. Type a wish, press enter, and it is added. You can rename a category, add your own, or move a wish to another.

A wish is just a few words

A wish is a line of text, a category, and whether you have lived it yet. No steps, no deadline, no percentage. Drag them into the order that feels right to you. Wishes you have lived settle at the bottom of their category, where they stay as a quiet record.

Living one

When something on the list happens, mark it as lived. It stays in your notebook, and the day you did it can sit on a page beside a photo and a few words. Nothing shows you how many are left, and nothing compares your list to anyone else's.

Looking ahead with countdowns

For the things with a date (a trip, a wedding, a move) add a countdown. What is coming up appears on your home screen, and the birthdays of people close to you appear there too, without you adding them. A countdown is a way of looking forward, and you can ignore it as long as you like.

In your notebook, by period

Wishes live in the Contents page of your notebook. A wish belongs to the notebook where you wrote it or lived it, and a "This notebook / All" filter lets you see them all at once.

What is free, what is Premium

Wishes and their categories are free. You can keep up to 8 active countdowns for free (birthdays do not count), and unlimited countdowns are part of Niravah Premium, from €6.99 a month, €54.99 a year or €129.99 once. Starting a new notebook is Premium too, and your first notebook is free. The free version shows a few ads, never where you write.

Questions

Is Niravah a bucket list app?
Niravah is a notebook with a place for your wishes, which is a gentle kind of bucket list. You keep wishes, countdowns, and the days you lived, all in one place, on your phone.
Does it track my progress?
No. A wish is lived or not yet, and that is all. There are no progress bars, no scores and no ranking, because a wish is something you hope for, not a target.
Can I add a place I want to visit?
Yes. Places to visit is a category made for it, and you can add a place by its name.
Do I need an account?
No. Niravah works without an account and keeps your pages on your phone by default. An optional backup is encrypted before it leaves your phone and hosted in Europe.
