Niravah is now your notebook, for noticing what truly matters, keeping it, and revisiting it. A page for the days you want to keep: a photo, a few words, a place, a person. Days go by, the pages stay. This version rebuilds the home screen around that idea, adds a Contents page to each notebook, lets you dress its cover, and introduces the Pause.
Everything you kept is still here
Your days are pages in your notebook. Your past chapters are notebooks on the shelf. Your people and your activities now live in Settings. Wherever you used to read “board”, you now read “page”: today’s page is where the day is arranged, in the day editor, in reminders, in backup and in export. Nothing you made has gone anywhere.
A new home
The top of the home screen is Niravah greeting you, with an “Add to your notebook” button. It opens a short chooser: a photo, something that did you good, or a few words. Below sits your notebook’s cover, then a row of cards for today, then what is coming up, then your notebooks, all in one scroll.
Your notebook opens like a real one: the cover swings open and you step into its first page. From the cover you can also go straight to today.
The row of cards is new each day, and you swipe through it card by card:
- Look back: a photo, a few photos, a page of your journal, a whole day or a wish from a while ago comes back to you. Only days with real content show up.
- Your week, your month and your year: a recap card that plays the recap when you tap it. Past recaps come back too.
- Your intention for today, Niravah’s little lines, and Niravah Notes, our news, as a small newspaper clipping that says how recent it is.
Niravah’s floating button and her separate page are gone. She now lives at the top of the home screen, and what she used to keep for you moves into the cards.
Contents
Each notebook has its own Contents page, laid out as cards, two per row: the recap of the notebook, its days, your journal, your wishes, its photos to leaf through, and a map of the places you went. Each card says plainly what is inside.
Your journal, wishes, photos and places show what belongs to this notebook. A “This notebook / All” filter lets you see everything at once. The journal’s ”+” now sits in its header.
Your cover
Make the cover yours: pick its cloth and colour, give it a name, and set the size, position and angle of its label. Six colours are free for everyone. The full catalogue, decorations and polaroid photos on the cover are part of Premium. Everyone can try every option before saving.
“This notebook”, from the home screen, the shelf or the Contents page, gathers what you can do with it: change the cover, rename it.
Your notebooks on the shelf
The shelf on the home screen holds your notebooks, with your older recaps as slim booklets beside them, all by date. “See all” opens the whole shelf. When a notebook is closed, its recap waits in its Contents page, with a small “new” chip on the shelf until you watch it.
Starting a new notebook, for a season, a trip or a time of your life, is now part of Premium. Every notebook you already have stays yours, free: you can read it whenever you like, rename it and pick its colour. Without Premium, the notebook you are writing in simply keeps growing, and nothing in it is lost.
The Pause
A new button at the bottom left of the home screen opens the Pause: a quiet page of stars that follow your finger, with a few small things to try, or nothing at all.
- Revisit your photos: one photo you kept at least two weeks ago, with its caption and its date.
- Feel your words: your own words, big and raised, so your finger can feel the letters.
- Notice something: a strip of paper slowly unrolls and settles on one line.
- Take a photo: it lands on today’s page while you stay on the Pause.
- Write a few words: today’s journal page.
There is also a gentle Pause reminder. It is off by default. Turn it on from the Pause or in Settings, and choose the days and the time.
A new first run
Your first steps now happen on your notebook: a welcome with the closed notebook, then a first page to keep (a photo, something that did you good, or a few words), then “It’s kept”, with an offer of a gentle reminder. The long guided walk is gone.
On the App Store, and one link to share
Niravah is now on the App Store. Sharing the app sends one link: on a phone with Niravah it opens the app, and otherwise it leads to the right store.
Smaller things
When you place several photos at once and attach them to the same activity or person, the little fan of photos now appears right away, with all of them. Your journal list loads page by page, so it opens quickly even with years of entries.
Life is here and now. Notice it, keep it, revisit it.
