How to make a little film, or a photo page, in Niravah

Turn a few photos and clips into one image, a photo page or a little film to hand to someone. Here is how, step by step, on your phone.

To make a little film, tap “Create a moment to share” on the home screen, choose “A little film”, pick your photos and clips, and tap “Create”. You can also make a single image or a page of two to five photos. All of it is made on your phone.

Open “Create a moment to share”

It is the floating button at the bottom right of the home screen. It asks “What would you like to make?” with three choices: “One photo”, “A few photos” and “A little film”.

Make one image with “One photo”

Tap “Choose a photo”, add a few words under “Write something…”, then tap “Create”. The result is “Your snapshot”, with “Share” to hand it to someone and “Save” to keep it.

Make a page with “A few photos”

Choose between two and five photos, and Niravah offers a few arrangements. Pick one and tap “Use this arrangement”. To swap two photos, “Tap a photo, then another, to swap them.” If you picked more than a page holds, Niravah offers “Make a little film” instead.

Make a film with “A little film”

Tap “Add photos or videos” and choose from one to fifteen photos and clips. Under each, “Add a few words…” places a short caption. Use “Move earlier” and “Move later” to change the order, and “Remove this” to take one out. When you are ready, tap “Create”. You can stop at any time, and nothing is kept until the film is finished.

Trim a clip to “The part that matters”

Tap a video and “Choose where it starts and ends” with the “Start” and “End” handles. A clip needs at least two seconds. Photos rest for a moment and drift very slowly on their own.

Watch it, then share or save

Your film plays in the app before anything is sent. Tap “Share” to open your phone’s share sheet, or save it to your camera roll, where “Saved to your photos.” confirms it. “Change something” takes you back, and “Done” closes.

Good to know

  • A film is silent, a vertical .mp4, and made to feel like a small card, not an edit.
  • Around a minute is a comfortable length. Beyond that, one quiet line says “This one will take a little longer to make.”
  • A small mark, “Made with Niravah · niravah.com”, is always in the corner. It is the only thing Niravah adds.
  • Making images, photo pages and films is part of the free app.
  • It is meant to be handed to someone, not posted for likes.
